Medical Services
Our free walk-in clinics are open for registration from 6:00pm-7:00pm in Spearfish on Monday evenings and Lead the 2nd & 4th Thursday nights.

For every American without health insurance, there are almost three times as many without dental insurance. GSC sees first-hand the need for dental services.
About Us
How We Began
We began as a ministry of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Good Shepherd Clinic, Inc. (GSC) opened its doors in 2009. We proudly serve our local communities through our mission to provide quality care, freely given, to the underserved of the northern Black Hills. GSC patients often acknowledge that choosing to pay monthly necessity expenses, such as rent, utilities, food and staples, versus optional personal health care, challenges them.
On Monday nights in Spearfish and the 2nd & 4th Thursday nights in Lead, our host churches transform into welcoming and safe environments for patients to receive caring, professional and confidential clinic services, refreshments, and a path for improved health and better life conditions.
Are You Eligible?
Our medical and dental services each require a few specific requirements which are verified during the clinic visit. Persons with Medicare, Medicaid, or Veteran’s Assistance, or those who have personal health insurance, but do not meet our eligibility requirements, are not eligible for medical care services offered at Good Shepherd Free Clinic.
